Richardson Pioneer

Based out of the Regina, Saskatchewan divisional office, Devon oversees the agribusiness network across Western Canada and North Dakota. He works closely with zone senior directors and department leads in both Regina and Winnipeg, leading the planning, development, and execution of business objectives and growth strategies across grain, crop inputs, logistics, capital projects, credit, EH&S, and HR.

Devon began his career with Richardson Pioneer as a summer student at Dundonald before joining full-time in 2010 as a location assistant. He went on to hold progressively senior roles, including area marketing representative, grain merchant, director of operations, and senior director for Zone 1. He was promoted to his current role in May 2024.

 

Devon holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Regina.

Senior Director, Zone 3

Richardson Pioneer

As Senior Director, Addison supports all business activities within the Richardson Pioneer Zone 3 region. He is responsible for the overall management and growth opportunities for the locations in this zone, including people management, marketing, health and safety, and ensuring locations and business units operate within Richardson Pioneer’s corporate standards.

 

Addison joined Richardson in 2012 as an agribusiness student and took on various roles within the company, including location manager of the Bow Island Ag Business Centre. He was promoted to director, zone operations business development for Zone 3 in 2022, and began his current role in 2024.

 

Addison holds a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from the University of Manitoba and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He currently serves as Treasurer for the Regina Branch of the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrology.

Jarrod Fogal

Senior Director, Ag Innovation & Marketing

Richardson

Jarrod oversees Richardson Pioneer and Richardson Farms’ initiatives surrounding digital agriculture, agronomy, marketing, and ag innovation strategy.

 

He started his career with Richardson Pioneer in 2016, working as a sales agronomist at both the Wheatland and Carseland Ag Business Centres. He was soon promoted to a provincial agronomist and progressively moved into management roles within the company. Jarrod was promoted to his current role in 2023.

 

Jarrod has an agricultural chemistry degree from the University of Saskatchewan and earned his Master of Science in business administration at the European School of Management and Technology in Berlin, Germany.

Based at the Yorkton oilseed plant, Jason oversees all aspects of daily plant operations, working closely with supervisors and quality assurance to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations while coordinating across teams to optimize plant performance.

 

Jason was heavily involved in the plant’s most recent expansion, contributing to its design, construction, commissioning, and integration. His work focused on expanded utility systems, including steam, cooling water, and site infrastructure, as well as the implementation of the wastewater treatment plant and restructuring of utilities staffing.

 

Jason joined Richardson in 2011 as a 3rd class power engineer and progressed to assistant chief power engineer in 2015, chief power engineer in 2020, and Operations Manager in 2024. He holds a First Class Power Engineer certification.
